Introduction

Distributed power supply systems that connected several power supplies in parallel are widely used in high-power equipment and have the advantages of high capacity and high efficiency. However, the characteristics of each power module are different, when the modules are directly connected in parallel, the system's output current may be unbalanced and resulting in some power modules running at a light load and some power modules running at a heavy load or even overload.  

 

FB-1254YMDG is designed for applications requiring multi-module redundant current sharing in the board mount power systems. It can share the output currents of each power module, and improve system stability and reliability to meet the power supply requirements of a 1600W load. 

It not only ensures that the output current difference of each power module is within ±5%, but also ensures uniform distribution of current stress and thermal stress between modules, and also prevents one or more modules from operating in a current-limited state.

 

 

Applications

This product is suitable for occasions of redundant applications, parallel power-up, etc.

Note: The characteristics of each power module are different, when the modules are directly connected in parallel, the system's output current may be unbalanced and resulting in some power modules running at a light load and some power modules running at a heavy load or even overload. In this case, it will greatly reduce the system's reliability and shortens the power modules' service life.

 

The FB-1254YMDG product connects 4 mornsun 400W power modules in parallel to meet the power supply requirements of a 1600W load.

1. Ensure that the output current difference of each power module is within ±5%

2. Ensure uniform distribution of current stress and thermal stress between modules

3. Prevent one or more modules from operating in a current-limited state at the same time
