Product Model Overview

The LM150-20Ax Series consists of two primary models, both certified to BIS standards and utilizing efficient air-cooling with a total output power of 150W.

The LM150-20A15 model provides symmetrical dual outputs of +15V at 5A and -15V at 5A. The positive output voltage is adjustable within a range of 13.5V to 16.5V. This model achieves a typical efficiency of 86% at 230VAC input and can support a maximum capacitive load of 6000µF per output.

The LM150-20A24 model provides symmetrical dual outputs of +24V at 3.125A and -24V at 3.125A. The positive output voltage is adjustable from 21.6V to 26.4V. It offers a slightly higher typical efficiency of 88% at 230VAC and supports a maximum capacitive load of 2400µF per output.

Detailed Technical Specifications

Input Specifications:
The power supply accepts a universal input of 85-264VAC at 47-63Hz or 120-373VDC. Maximum input current is 4A at 115VAC and 2A at 230VAC. Typical inrush current is limited to 30A (115VAC) and 60A (230VAC). A built-in 6.3A fuse and a start-up delay of less than 1 second at rated load are standard. Hot plug operation is not supported.

Output Performance:
Output voltage accuracy is excellent, with ±1% for the primary output (Vo1) and ±3% for the auxiliary output (Vo2) across the full load range. Line and load regulation are equally robust. Ripple and noise are minimized, measuring below 150mV peak-to-peak (using the tip-and-barrel method with a 20MHz bandwidth). Protections include self-recovering short-circuit protection, over-current protection (125-200% of rated current), and over-voltage protection set at ≤21.75V for 15V models and ≤33.6V for 24V models.

General & Environmental Data:
The unit provides reinforced isolation, with 4000VAC isolation between input and output. It operates reliably in temperatures from -30℃ to +70℃, with storage from -40℃ to +85℃, and up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). A power derating of 2.5%/℃ is required above 50℃. The switching frequency is 65kHz. The power supply meets rigorous environmental and safety standards, including IEC/EN61000-4 for immunity and CISPR32/EN55032 Class B for emissions. It is housed in a sturdy metal enclosure (AL1100, SGCC) measuring 159.00 x 97.00 x 30.00 mm and weighing approximately 450g.

Electromagnetic Compatibility:
The LM150-20Ax Series is designed for excellent EMC performance. It complies with CISPR32/EN55032 Class B for both conducted and radiated emissions. Immunity is robust, meeting standards for Electrostatic Discharge (±6kV contact, ±8kV air), Radiated Fields (10V/m), Electrical Fast Transients (±4kV), Surge (±2kV line-line, ±4kV line-ground), and more, ensuring stable operation in electrically noisy environments.
